October 2011 Newsletter

This is our regular email to all our members to inform them of changes to the network, things that are due to happen and things that have been happening. 

Well it has been quite a while since we emailed our members with a proper network update, This is due to a lot of unforeseen circumstances and life simply taking its toll. First of all we would like to thank all our members for staying with us and making UKMadZone what it is today. We have been open for over two and a half years now!

Staff Updates

• Chloe/ScottishNinja/Badger is taking time away from the network due to health reasons.
• Lindsey/Ninja-Bumpersticker/MomaDuck is now the Network Services Manager. Her main role is to work alongside Chloe to enable the network to run its best.
• MJK94/PocketNinja is now the Network Support Manager. His role within UKMadZone is to manage the Support Operators.
• iWomble & Wack0 are our Support Operators. They support our users and make sure they have a great time on our network.
• Ricky/OneFourStyle is now head of radio and channel moderator, his role within ukmadzone is to manage the radio and all the djs, aswell as keeping our channels safe and fun.

We would just like to wish each member of staff the best of luck in there new positions.

We are currently looking for a few voluntary staff members as well to do the following things:-

• Radio DJs - We are looking for new radio DJs, All we ask of our djs is that they are willing to dj a few hours a week and have a fairly decent music collection or they are willing to download music as and when required.
• Quiz Masters- We are looking for a few extra quiz masters to hold on avrage one quiz per week. All we ask of our quiz masters is they are able to provide 3 quiz rounds on various topics suited world wide.
• Channel Moderators- We are looking for chatters with some spare time to become Chat Room Moderators.  Your job would be to help keep the Network safe and fun. Requirements :- You must be aged 16 and over to apply ,and be registered on the website and an active chatter as we like our Moderators to interact with everyone, be willing to learn mIRC to moderate, able to work on your own or as part of a team and show common sense.
